“I think that Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose is greatly at risk,” Pelosi said. “I don’t like to be a fear monger, but this is very personal for people, that their lives will be so affected by a court decision.”
More than 61 million unborn babies’ lives have been negatively affected by Roe v. Wade. That total does not include the mothers, fathers, siblings and grandparents who also have been hurt by legalized abortion on demand.
Pelosi did not acknowledge any of them. Instead, she criticized pro-life leaders’ efforts to protect unborn babies from abortion.

One of the things that separates us from the rest of living organisms on this planet is our endowed ability to introspect, reflect, meditate if you will, which allows us to discern the grey from the silly notion of black and white reality; the either-or of, if it can’t be scientifically measured or explained it does NOT exist.
These mystical gifts we are endowed with opens us up to the ”big picture” where the impossible and unexplainable resides. A place where our minds are free to wander between the black and white and into the grey, where the wonders of being human are experienced.
Science and theories have a place but are very much limited to the petri dish that some so adamantly force themselves to believe is where life begins and ends. A limited, finite universe; manageable and explainable.
Just as I’m almost certain we came into this world terrified of being free of the warm confines of the womb, there are those who choose to remain confined in tidy antiseptic labs for very much the same reason. They are terrified.
They view reality through a periscope rather than a telescope The finite rather than the infinite. They fail to realize that being born into this life is a miracle; one that, without a doubt, each and every one of us has experienced. And this is only the beginning of our journey.
